Get ready for one of the most magical nights of the year as A Main Street Christmas returns to the Village of Schomberg!

Beginning at 4:00 PM, Main Street will come alive with our festive Santa Claus Parade as we welcome Santa to the village. Keep an eye out for the Grinch, who is sure to be up to his usual mischief and trying to stir up a little holiday chaos along the parade route! The parade is filled with smiling faces, colourful floats, community groups, marching bands, and plenty of Christmas spirit.

 

Looking for the perfect Christmas gift? Be sure to visit the Christmas Marketplace at the Schomberg Community Hall, featuring local artisans, crafters, makers, and vendors offering unique gifts for everyone on your list.
 

As you stroll along Main Street, you'll discover even more vendors, activities, and entertainment. Try your hand at curling with the Schomberg Curling Club and see how far you can slide a rock down the sheet. Warm up with a cup of hot chocolate served by the Schomberg Firefighters and the Knights of Columbus, who always have a sweet treat waiting for visitors. The Schomberg Agricultural Society will be firing up the BBQ with hot dogs, hamburgers, and sausages fresh off the grill.

 

One of the highlights of the evening is the return of Doo Doo the Clown. Known for his laughter, magic, and larger-than-life personality, Doo Doo will be making his way through the village showing everyone just how UNBELIEVABLE Schomberg is throughout the seasons. With his unique blend of comedy and audience participation, he is guaranteed to bring smiles to children and those who are simply young at heart.

Throughout the evening, you'll encounter carollers, magicians, jugglers, children's entertainers, and some of the best local talent our area has to offer. Every corner of Main Street will be filled with music, laughter, and holiday cheer.

 

Be sure to stop by The Schomberg Pub's Tailgate Party under the big tent, where you can enjoy a refreshment while listening to live local entertainment and taking in the festive atmosphere.

Then, just when you think the evening is winding down, the grand finale begins at 7:30 PM with the spectacular Farmers' Parade of Lights. More than 30 pieces of farm equipment decorated with thousands of Christmas lights will roll down Main Street, creating a dazzling display that has become one of the most anticipated traditions of the season. The illuminated tractors and farm equipment provide a finale unlike anything else you'll experience during the holidays.
